Ivan and Jenny Roman serve together as Covenant Pastors at City of Life Church, where their love for God, people, and each other shines through every aspect of their ministry. Deeply rooted in the life and leadership of City of Life, the Romans are passionate about building the local church and helping others discover the hope of Jesus.

Jenny’s journey at City of Life began in childhood—growing up in the church, graduating from both the academy and School of Ministry, and faithfully stepping into numerous leadership roles. Her heart for Jesus and for people is evident in everything she does, from leading teams to raising her children. She’s a joyful mother to Zion and Zara, and their family loves to travel, discover new foods, and enjoy anything Disney. Jenny is a talented baker who enjoys unwinding with a movie and something sweet she’s made. Her favorite scripture is Ephesians 3:20,  

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."

Ivan joined City of Life in 2007 and has since pursued God's call with faithfulness and vision. A graduate of the academy, Bible college, and the church’s internship program, Ivan has served in multiple areas of ministry over the years. His greatest joy is serving the local church alongside Jenny and investing in their children, Zion and Zara. Whether he’s traveling, writing, gardening, or watching nature shows with his family, Ivan brings thoughtfulness and creativity to all he does. He’s especially passionate about food—Asian cuisine is a favorite—and is his wife's biggest fan in the kitchen. A verse close to his heart is Jeremiah 29:13,

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Together, the Romans are a vibrant family committed to loving Jesus, loving people, and living out the mission of City of Life with authenticity and joy.
