Gricel Vallejo has been a dedicated member of the City of Life Church family since 2008. In 2018, after a decade of volunteering she transitioned to a staff member role. As the Chief of Staff and Operations here at City of Life, Gricel brings her passion for strategic planning and operational efficiency to the forefront. What excites her the most about her role is the opportunity to streamline operations, cultivate a positive work environment, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.  She thrives on the dynamic challenges that come with managing the day-to-day intricacies of the organization.

Beyond her professional life, she is a proud wife and mom of three wonderful boys. Family is her anchor, and being able to balance a thriving career with a fulfilling personal life is a journey she cherishes. In her downtime, she finds joy in exploring new destinations with her husband and has a passion for cooking. She especially loves creating delicious dishes that reflect her Puerto Rican heritage. Puerto Rican food is her absolute favorite cuisine.  

One verse that resonates deeply with her is 2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP). “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].” It serves as a source of inspiration and strength, reminding her of the values that ground her both personally and professionally.
