One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.”
Pslam 27:4
Is there anyone here that loves the house of God? This is our home. When I walk in that door, I see “Welcome Home.” I love my home!
This is the place where we can come together no matter what our skin looks like, no matter what our bank account looks like, and no matter what our past looks like. We can come up together in this home and lift our hands in the air to worship as brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. This is our home.
My dream is to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. My heart is right here in this house where I've seen my God heal broken people. It's in this house where I've seen God take people that were thrown away and give them a second chance. I've seen people who were sick that were raised to life again. We decided we were going to build a church that is a multigenerational, multicultural church that brings a message of hope, dignity and esteem to all people no matter who they are and no matter who has thrown them away. My heart is in this house of God today. Is yours?
“I was glad when they said unto me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord.’ ”
Pslam 122:1
