Over 250 turkeys were given away to single moms in the Central Florida area by the congregation at City of Life Church just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. As a part of this effort, 175 Thanksgiving baskets containing all the necessary food items for a Thanksgiving feast were given to single moms in the community to go along with the turkeys.  Families within the church sponsored a basket by donating $30, which covered a basket full of food items to make a Thanksgiving dinner and a 20-24 lb turkey.  

This is an annual program available to all single moms with children under 18 in the community, and this is City of Life's fifth year running the program.  Promoting Restoration in Single Mothers (PRISM) is one of City of Life’s popular ministries. PRISM events occur throughout the year to assist single mothers. It is the goal of PRISM to offer support, prayer, encouragement, practical assistance, and love to the single mothers that live in Osceola & Orange Counties.
