Each of us has a unique role to fulfill during our time on earth. When you are faithful over what you’ve been given and the role you’ve been assigned, you are able to live out the destiny that God has for your life by doing the following:
- Maximize what God gave YOU. When you live in a world of comparison, you begin to get an improper view of who God is and focus on what others have rather than what God has given you. Don’t be so wrapped up in what God is doing in someone else that you miss out on the destiny that He has for you.
- Lay down your pride. When you live your life in comparison, your pride disguises itself and fools everyone by wearing a mask of humility and low self-esteem.
- Respond in faith. How you respond to failure is sometimes the determining factor of whether you’re ready for the next assignment. Will you respond with faith, or will you give up? Will you take the risk and trust Him even if it means you may fail at times?
Whether or not we’ve successfully lived out our destiny is determined by how we have utilized our talents and abilities during our time on earth. Will you allow comparison to steal your destiny? Or will you use your God-given talents and abilities to sow seed into heaven that will result in an eternal reward?
