Is there anyone here that's been looking for a miracle in your life? You might think, “That seems too big for me.” Good! When logic ends, that's where faith steps in, and God can start to do things in your life that he has never done before.

In Isaiah 43, God spoke to his people and said, “I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King…who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters, who brings out chariot and horse, army and warrior.” This is about Pharaoh's army.

He continues and says, “They shall lie down. Together they shall not rise. They're extinguished. They are quenched like a wick.”

Then he gives his people a command, “Do not remember the former things nor the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

I thought I was supposed to remember all the great things God has done, but instead, he's saying for us not to get caught up on that. He's already done the greatest things that will ever be done, and now he says he is going to do a new thing.

He is making new roads, which means new ways, new opportunities, and new things that lead in new directions.  It means new rivers of provision to be opened up from heaven.

I believe that God is about to create opportunities for people in this church to dream bigger than they've ever dreamed before and to see things accomplished in their family that are greater than anything they have ever imagined.
