PRISM

City of Life's ministry to single mothers is called PRISM, which stands for Promoting Restoration in Single Mothers. It is our goal to offer support, prayer, encouragement, practical assistance, and love to the single mothers that live in Osceola County.

Why minister to single moms?

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. Psalm 68:5

God expresses himself as father, and a Father is a representation of God. To homes that have no father, we aim to represent God as best as we can by providing for the children, supporting the mothers, and offering love and prayers along the way.  

We plan unique events throughout the year with the aim of blessing single moms and their children.  These events are not limited only to City of Life members, but they are open to single moms in the community.  They include:

• Thanksgiving Blessing, where we provide a  gift to families headed by single mothers
• Angel Tree, where church families  sponsor Christmas gifts for the children of single mothers
