We partner with Compassion International to give our city practical tools to impact our world. Acts 1:8 says “...You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” We recognize that we might not all be able to physically go across the globe, but we can all play a role in praying and sponsoring children to the ends of the earth and join Compassion’s mission to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
Why partner with Compassion?
We partner with Compassion International to see children that are in poverty given the opportunity to pursue an education and to know Jesus personally without the worries of whether or not they will have a meal. Our pastors have visited Compassion centers and developed a trusted relationship with the organization’s leaders.
Through this partnership City of Life has given dozens of goats and chickens to help provide farming businesses for families. We have also donated over 50 water filtration systems since the summer of 2018, giving over 50 families a lifetime of access to clean, safe water. We are proud that City of Life families sponsor children all over the world. As a church our current focus is to sponsor children living in the Dominican Republic so that we can organize a trip to meet all our sponsor children together.
